The Greatest Sometime Superteam Ever!
Barefoot Bullet - fleet-footed speedster! Buxom Blonde - huge-breasted heroine! Chi - somewhat martial artist! Diesel - ingenius auto machanic! Sybil - multi-personalitied crime fighter! Together, they are The Powers That Be!
Oooh, that's good! Come on, who doesn't love big-breasted women? Okay ... most all ladies excluded, but still - you can't have enough super-fast superheroes! Yeah ... alright already! But there's always room for one more flying armored guy with ...
Well, it's my comic, so this is what you get! At least, I hope you will get it. It would mean alot to me and my twelve starving children [INSERT VIOLIN MUSIC HERE]. Well ... it would mean alot to me.
What 10-year-old didn't want to draw his own comic book? There's a lot of us out there, and if you're reading this ... YEAH! Got ya! You're probably one of us, too. I pulled Barefoot Bullet, Chi and Diesel straight from my adolescent memory of when I was "creating" and "drawing" my own comics as a kid. Back then, I was amazing! The problem is, I draw pretty much the same way today. I came up with Sybil and Buxom Blonde while driving to some fast food restaurant (hell, yes - I want fries with that!), and rest is history. (Actually, Buxom Blonde may have come from a recent wet dream ... but believe me - you don't want to hear about that!)
I knew that with characters named Barefoot Bullet and Buxom Blonde, this book - Oh! she had to be a-silly one! But what greater fun for me, and when it's all said and done, this book (and series) was created for an audience of one: Me. No, no - you're more than welcome to jump abroad. Please bring some money with you. Artists aren't exactly standing on street corners with signs that read: will draw for food. God - I wish they were!
This book is truely a labor of love. I look forward to writing it and watching it grow, and seeing what happens to the heroes and villains. I really hope you will, too.
